The trek is done from July to September and also requires sound trekking knowledge and skills. The trek is a mixed bag of high gradients, gradual climbs, picturesque mountains, and scenic passes. The trail is around 100 km and thus requires high trekking skills to complete the trek over 16 days. Also, the trek takes trekkers through some high peaks. For this reason, customization becomes a primary requirement even in the completion of the trek. The trek starts from the scenic spot of Manali and covers sightseeing places like Manikaran.
